| Is the art any good in pvp while fighting as elf/charmer elf? |

| With the new cheating clover of fortune that adds ini to the troops, it is definitely an advantage to the entire elf faction. Extrapower with the guarantee first move is deadly for everyone. The only problem is the mirror battles |
| I have seen charmer elves use it in pvp, but I'm not convinced that it's better than a shield. Of course the dagger is better if you are fighting a mage, but against might factions I think the shield is better. |
| I think shield might be better at my level.. charmer elves have wide damage range.. adding 5% to that can be unreliable anyway.. they are much easier to kill without shield unless if my birds get blinded in the first turn which happens not so often. |

I suppose it is not dampened, otherwise no one would have bought such costly arts. |
| It is dampened. For example, if you have 50% magic shield, the 5% fire damage will be reduced to 2.5% |
