| You need basic magic talent for that, so either basic chaos or basic darkness for chaos or darkness respectively. |

| Does it give dark elf access to nature or holy spells at basic level? Because I know that DE can only cast darkness and chaos spells otherwise. But wisdom should allow you to cast without having to pick talents. That's what wisdom is supposed to mean :p |

It would be nice but it does not work that way; only spells of schools a faction is supposed to be able to cast work. Considering they are casted with lower efficiency than with basic talent I'm yet to find an use for that talent. |

It works like that in HoMM V. Here it's like Slust typed. |
wisdom opens the possibility to use all lvl 3 spells of the schools that you learn. So no darkness for wizards, for instance.
But since you don't have the talent for the given school, your spell will have the lowest effect possible. See "spells" section in the help pages for more détails on the values! |
