Author | Levelling up mid campaign |
Campaigns represent a good opportunity for levelling up a sub faction, so long as you have the buildings (and the gold of course)
In one week you could feasibly buy a potion of skill then do all three campaign difficulties for each sub faction, you add that to watchers guild battles and you have a good amount of fsp available irrespective of whether you have many easy Mercenary quests or hunts to do (my former main stay of levelling up without expending cost on a potion of skill. This led me to wonder what the consequence on active campaigns woul dbe if you levelled up. Would it be like tournaments that you had to do a normal battle to level up? IF it was like this, what would happen if you had campaigns for all factions and sub factions active, then levelled, and so could do all of them before you actually level. Thus extending your ability to get licences or sub faction levels without progressing in other guilds and getting harder battles.
Has anyone levelled mid campaign? What happened? | Yup, noting happened. Until you fight another type of battle and at least one campaign is still active, for ex switch faction and begin with one battle, you wont level up. When you do, you can do all campaigns a new, meaning like you fought with no faction at all. So, if want to do max, don't do other battles rather finish all that you want and than level up go again, level up, etc etc until you loose your mind going same quest again and again and again.... | Do you mean that you can't level up if you still have any campaign active?
Anyway, didn't think yet about this possibility to level up a new faction fast. It seems much more useful now to buy a potion of skill for a week. | don't do other battles rather finish all that you want and than level up go again, level up, etc etc until you loose your mind going same quest again and again and again....
lol that's so sarcastic....
Do you mean that you can't level up if you still have any campaign active?
it means you can CHOOSE to not level up by doing only campaign battles so in a way you can camp levels if you want to and farm fsp for sub factions.... | it means you can CHOOSE to not level up by doing only campaign battles so in a way you can camp levels if you want to and farm fsp for sub factions....
Only you will get a bigger and bigger xp pump if you don't level up so when you actually do level up, your actual ratio will be have become much worse (if farming fsp was your intention). | Still, you can do a screenshot with insane campaign number (points) not to mention combat log and brag for eternity how much can you do basically same battle types over and over again. If nothing else goes for persistence. It s like fairytale actually, you can do it for many times (hear same call for help, read all story from beginning)and yet it s like a brand new one. You always get that warm fuzzy feeling when freeing healer. Personally, I freed him so many times that I really thought he will learn a lesson and know better rather than doing same mistake again, but hope is eternal. With ABC (Abu charm) fsp is still very very nice indeed in my case at least, far better than any other type of battle, so, onward to the rescue... | for avelox:
When I first read your post I thought you were being sarcastic (and maybe you sort of were) however I was amazed by your combat log, 42 pages of mostly campaign battles!
Doesn;t Watchers guild give you more FSP per battle and therefore per investment in arts? I thought campaigns were coming in second not first, and with a less direct gold payback. Still, mightly impressive and I can well imagine there is no-one with a higher campaign score for your level. How many estate licences you got now? must be adding up rather! | Well I was actually, mostly on my own account. True it is quite less profitable on gold, in a way no battle is profitable, but overall almost same on armament as WG and estate shares is insignificant all in all (6). FSP is quite good and I dont know on level 17 what is status since You can see only current level. |
