AuthorDoes anyone really buy common shop artifacts with 0 durablity?
I was looking on the trading section section of forum and got curious.

What's it about?
https://www.lordswm.com/forum_thread.php?id=114
my guess would be he wants to repair the artifact for lets say, 60% for a 50% cost and sell it for profit/
sell it for profit/

Smithing is super expensive, especially at the start since it's horribly inefficient. I think a lot of the time people just sell their item to recoup some of the cost until they are at a level when they can take on customers and reduce some of the cost that way.

some smiths offer repair at a profitable rate, for example, 70% efficiency at 60% cost.
he will buy 0 dura arts at cheap price, sent them for repair and resell the repaired arts for a bit of profit. not really profitable and also time consuming.

but still we can earn some money from that
for bonefletcher123:
what do you mean? The person buying it will have to pay 100% price anyway if its for repair. Where did 50% come from?

Oh i see. But isn't it hard to sell items with altered durablity? I remember how hard it was for me to sell a weapon i used for 1 battle because most people have market listings set at "full durablity"
What he is trying to say is
Send artifact to certain smiths who offer a higher percentage of repair effeciency and a lower percentage of repair fee so that he may profit off a little when he sells it :)
erm for example, i buy dragon eyes 0/60 at 100G
then i send it to smith that has a 70% efficiency, paying 60% of cost.

so that will be 10279*0.6+100=6267

the dura is at 42. the original cost of a 42/XX dragon eye will be at 7346(10495/60*42)

if you sell the art at for example, 7200, people will buy them cuz they are cheaper and you earn like 1000g.
ez money ez life i guess?

Depends, I have not really had much difficulty selling used arts for normal prices.
okay. thanks people.
