quick question when lowering difficult does my FSP need to be higher then 0.30 or 0.50?

i know that the more FSP you get if you lose the more it will reduce the difficulty

0.3 or higher will lower the difficulty.

It was always believed that your FSP gained needs to be more than 0.3 , but recent posts suggest that as long you get some FSP, the difficulty would be somehow reduced.
