| Now that i have achieved level 4 on mercenaries guild, are there any statistics on how likely it is for you to get a moonstone; or perhaps two of them? I have always wondered on the chances of getting certain elements... |
No official statistics. The drop is around 20%
People might have personal statistics but officially the drop rate of every element is "same". |

Chances of getting zero element: 80%
- Chances of getting one element: 16%
- Chances of getting two elements: 4%
- you try to get 1st element with probability 0.2
- you try go get 2nd element with probability 0.2, but only when you've got 1st element
assuming the above is correct,with 8 different elements:
the probability to get exactly 1 moonstone is 2%
(1 single moonstone for every 50 MG quests won)
the probability to get 2 moonstones is 0.0625%
(double moonstone, once every 1600 MG quests won) |
in those 1600 wins, the average player would get 48 of each element
i don't think anybody is exactly average though. |
