| As my subject indicates I enrolled in random tournament twice in a row and got pushed out by the system, is this a bug? Or is it expected? |
| if you join too late its posibble i suppose you mean quick tournaments? in the bottom bar of tournament you joined reads if participation with ai army is quaranteed(meaning you will get in tourny with ai atleast if there isnt enough real players) |
| By random tournament he probably means random PT, in which case it is normal to not be able to find another player of you CL, especially when there are few players online and if you join late. |
| I joined at the start when there were only about 2 mins- when there were only 5 players.... I checked at around 21:38 there were 12 participants, I still was not put into a battle... |
| I also thought it works on a first cum first serve basis but it made no sense for me when I actually joined so early... First time I did I did it late, probably in the last minute so I thought it was expected... |

| ive had the same issue in lvl 6 paired id be the 1st or 2nd person and there would be 6-7 people 1 min before it started and i still didnt get play. happened roughly 6 times then i just gave up |
It happened again today and now, I played two games, next two I wasnt taken :(
Also wasted an elixir to restore this time!! Should I put this in bugs? |
Its not a bug , there can be many factors like players who joined had preset teams and got fight with another preset team by leaving random joiners behind.. or any other similar case.
Well im not sure , but i don't think its like 1st come 1st serve.. because i never got rejected till now and i usually joins at last 1-2 minutes.. dont know if i was lucky or its like this only. |

I believe it is not based on how early you enter, but how many battles you have played. If there is an odd number of players, then the system considers those who have played the most number of battles in the tournament already. That way, players who have already done a large number of their tournament battles later on in the tournament, have the chance to complete it first. That is what I have observed from previous tournaments.
In addition, there are other factors. Tournaments do not allow you to get an opponent more than once. This means, that it will try to sort the teams according to who has already played another player to try and maximise the number of teams battling. If you are joining at a time with a low player count, then the chances of you joining with another player who also plays in that time-zone is greater. This means that you have a higher chance of getting rejected.
It can be frustrating, especially as the tournament progresses and fewer people are playing in it because many have finished already. |
| It is possible that what you say is true, however, if my earlier number determines greater chance then chance should be very high given that I already did around 40 battles... Also, number of rejections was around 11 so far which seems too high for a single player. I tried participating 10 battles yesterday alone, dint get 6 times out of this 11. Since I tried different slots from around 16:00 server time to around 00:30, I imagine there could have been different sets of people every time too... |
| I re-read you post, you had also stated that server tries not to give me same opponents. I have got same opponents twice many times, yesterday itself I got twice, so may be it rejected me a third time... One of my clan mates bet me twice for example.. |

Thats applicable only for 1vs1
If you are doing random , you can get a fight with same preset team as many times as you can..
But yes if you are playing as preset team and got fight with another preset team , then you can't get fight with same preset team. |
