AuthorFirefox and Flash
As an avid player and supporter of the game, I ask what will happen when flash is gone? Does LORDSWM will be used in other platforms?

Yours sincerely,
SCW
An interesting question
Flash is not going so easily...
Despite all the backdrops, it still is the best for creating animations and all.
Only flaw is security which I hope Adobe resolves soon.
Flash is already going....
Yes, "going". Yet every site I use requires flash.

HTML5 by itself isn't powerful enough (being a markup language) and it being a standard will take time to get completed. Flash being a browser plugin has access to all low level functionality that HTML5 does not due to the browser's security restrictions. It's much more easier to lift a restriction in Flash with a simple update to the plugin, but a lot more difficult to update the spec once it has been finalized and implemented, being the reason why it is taking so long. That said, HTML5 is bridging that gap to get as close as possible to what Flash does.

There is a slow transition not anything revolutionary going on.
Although it would be great if this site start shifting to that as well. Start by supporting enroll code on all phones.
I think much of the info here is still valid:

Mozilla and Google both are moving towards slowly eradicating flash altogether...
I could live with Flash just fine, but the main problem is that is has way too many updates.
The worst part is that I can't ignore updates, because I can't enroll.
Stupid Adobe products (each time I update I have to uncheck installing McAfee crapware, and I have to do that each week or so, on both home/work computers).
This topic is long since last update and considered obsolete for further discussions.
