In case of zombies, you see, they don't really have a brain, so their heads are basically empty. That's why if they're given a small push or jerk, their head can come out.
Similarly at times you can see the blue or green coloured hair of shrews (see https://www.lordswm.com/photo_pl_photos.php?aid=213524&pl_id=4446883). This is because their hair are really rough and of bad quality, and the days that they don't colour their hair, they go bad.
More easter eggs? When HOPgoblins get bored of hitting with their sword, they sometimes kick with their legs.
