AuthorInitiative Random Allocation?
https://www.lordswm.com/war.php?warid=698742791

Bowmen with 14.6 Initiative get their turn before Bowmen with 16 Initiative. Now there is something really very wrong with this. Wasn't the randomness on a scale of 0.1 to 1.0 and not above that?
14.6 ini bows got +1.0 ini bonus.
16 ini bows -1.0 bonus.

Then it would make sense , i guess.
Nope, it used to be a total of 1 initiative. -0.5 to +0.5
because also his dragon and uni went before the elf with more ini, i am almost 100% sure that vdv666 was wearing a temporal ring (then all his stacks move 15% forward at the ini bar at the start of the battle)
https://www.lordswm.com/art_info.php?id=vbolt1&uid=267310727&crc=ie9da8f47a - This ring moves his stacks 15% forward on ATB scale as Nytyn said. That is the reason the bows moved first.

both wrong
Your troops can get maximum bonus 10% ini (never in minus) from the start. That mean if stacks have 16 ini then they can get +1,6 ini

So if bowmen have 14.6 ini +10% bonus = 16.06 rounded to 16.1. It is theoretically possible (witout temporal ring)
for Skoczek:
Ah yes, you are correct :) Should probably do the math first.

This is also wrong.

Let's use Arctic's example with a lap runner race.
https://www.lordswm.com/forum_messages.php?tid=1832909

We have two runners here:
1st. Starts at 0m (at worst) and needs to run 100m. With the speed of 16m/s he'll finish in 6,25s.
2nd. Starts at 10m (at best) and needs to run 90m. With the speed of 14.6m/s he'll finish in 6,16s.

For the first (and only first) round speed (or initiative) of the second runner here can be equivalent (in best case) to 14,6/0.9=16,22
It seems the player VDV666 has indeed used the ring Corey mentions.
Pause the battle immediately at start and scroll the brackets to see the starting lineup and followups.
From start blue unicorns with ini 17.6 move before red unicorns with ini 19.4. Move the lineup further on and you will now see the red unicorn will be getting a turn before the blue ones. And no I'm not talking about morale or anything, I'm talking about the initial setup right at start of all.
Same thing for blues grandmaster bowmen with ini 14.6 going before reds bowmen with ini 16. Scroll the initial lneup further on and you now see reds bowmen before blues bowmen getting a turn.
The rings 15% only counts for first turn, which is enough to get the very first movements. This way his unicorns have ini 17.6x1.15=20.24 for only the first turn, after its first turn it will result back to it's 17.6 ini. But the 20.24 beats the others 19.4 so it moves first, same format goes for the bowmen and rest of his creatures.
From the looks of it, this ring is very effective and highly underestimated.
