A full increase would be 30% - So if you were to solo that hunt, the next hunt would only be 1.3 - Which would round down to 1 again for the second hunt.
However, you asked for assistance in those hunts, so depending on how much you killed, you may find that you get Angels (1) again. |
increase is of 30% and 30% additional of 1 is 1.33 rounded to 1 |
If I went solo first time then I'd have you got 2 second time?
1.3*1 = 1.3
Rounded down to 1? Is this hunt level dependent? |

No, as you said it rounded down so you would have 1 again for the second hunt.
It is not hunt level dependent - The maximum increase for a hunt is 30% - That maximum increase comes when you kill all the creatures. (Either in a solo hunt or by killing them all in a dual hunt and not letting your partner kill anything). |
So if I were to ask assistance continuously no matter what and kill ~50% it won't ever increase be it at CL 2 or CL 21? |
for MarineBiologist:
No. It will increase. Say you had 1 angel, then you did half the damage in a hunt assistance and the difficulty increased 15% - Then the total number of monsters is 1.15.
In your second battle, the number of angels is rounded down, but the number remains the same. So if you kill 50% in that next hunt assistance, the 15% increase is based on the 1.15 creature base.
There is a minimum increase of 5% - Even if you do no killing and your partner kills everything for you. |
okay then lets say they introduce a new creature - X (tier 1)
i am in CL 12
i get 10 creatures of X
then next time will i get only 13 ? ( even though being in CL 12)? |
There is a minimum increase of 5%
I guess that 5% is cumulative until it passes an integer? |
I guess that 5% is cumulative until it passes natural number?
then next time will i get only 13 ? ( even though being in CL 12)?
Yes. |
for MarineBiologist:
Yes the increases are cumulative - But I believe the rounding goes both down and up for hunts, so once it ticks over 1.5 it is rounded up to 2.

Creature number increases don't have anything to do with combat level. If you killed all the creatures then the increase will be of 30%. So yes you will have 13 creatures of X on the second attempt. |
for Corey:
