But in this battle my creatures always get trap.because there stack hp is relatively higher than your stack which fall into tarp.
it is simple a stack of 4 goblin and a stack of 400 goblin setting trap, and your troops walking into it , 400 goblin's trap have higher chance (100% i say) to stop you, while 4 goblin's trap have very low chance(fail unless your 1 stack troop walking into it) |
Does that chance depend upon the number of stack laying the trap ? mostly in pvp battles the trap fails many time but there the number of goblins is quite less. |

is the number of goblins affected the chance to trap other creatures? |

Although it is not written anywhere.. but yes stack size matters in case of working of traps. |
Btw, its also depends on luck right? |
Btw, its also depends on luck right? no, if i am not wrong set trap use same formula which triggering ability calculating. while set trap is an activated ability. and that formula depends on both party hp a lot.

ofc if laying stack hp is more than the trapper's hp, high chance to fail |
