what exactly are they.
I mean I understand about decrease attack and ignore defence.
what I don't understand is
earth , water , fire , air magic shield.
extra damage with earth water fire air.
what do these mean
do they mean that only when I use magic those enchantments are worth doing so? ?
or if there's any forum on this already then please link me
so that I can learn about it
thanks |

ok but I am not going to use any magic as far as I know
so what do you think
should I use elements to upgrade only the first enchantment
I mean the one with
decrease damage of charging enemy
ignore target defence |
No.
It's better for you to sell your elements at the market rate :)
Enchanting your arts for now is highly ineffective.
all enchants on a weapon will help your output PHYSICAL damage.
extra damage with earth water fire air.
Your shrews and other troops will deal extra damage in the form of magic damage.
Enchants on all armor will reduce damage take. I won't advise you to use these
Enchants on Jewelry will increase magic damage (spells) as well as the extra magic damage through enchanted weapons.
Again, not very useful.
Hope it's clear now :) |
ok so all enchants help to increase my damage through weapons.
decrease damage taken through enchants in armor
and jewelery will help increase spell damage
correct?
so it doesn't matter whether I use spells or not
but the above effects will take place in physical battle (no magic) |
Enchants on weapons like swords, bows, daggers (extra damage with earth/air/water/fire magic) increase the damage dealt by your troops.
Enchants on armor (earth/air/water/fire magic shield) reduce the damage taken by the respective chaos spells and other sources of elemental damage (e.g. the cold blade talent or weapon enchants)
Enchants on jewelry (XX spell damage bonus; ignore YY shield), increases the damage of your hero's and troop's spells of the respective element.
Here you can see which spell deals which type of damage: https://www.lordswm.com/help.php?section=31

ok so let me tell you what I understood then you please comment whether am I correct or not.
first example:
I use sword of might with 1% fire extra damage.
I use shrews to attack other shrews (let's say doing damage 100) , so when my shrews attack them with me holding sword of might with extra 1% fire damage then they will do 101 damage correct.
but in same case if they attack may be fire elemental or efreeti sultans then that 1% extra damage won't be done as they have fire shields right.
and this rule applies to all type of elemental damage |
yes thats correct |
ok you very much :) |
I mean
thank you very much :) |
any other info that I should know about enchantments.
after that will lock the topic
so if any special or important info then please let me know |
Get only those arts enchanted which have high durability say 80+.
otw you will face loss by getting an art enchanted, if you plan to lease or use yourself.
Exceptions - theif dagger and xbow |
*thief |
