the idea is as simple as the title suggests!
given that we currently have up to lvl 21, I think the faction skill level being capped at 12 is very low given that the average player reaches fsl12 at cl16
Also I like to point out that as far as I can see; unlike combat levels, where having no cap will result in top players getting super lonely, there is no negative aspect to having faction levels up to FSL-16.

The cap you reach at level 16 , Will make you try out other factions in the game ... Which is inturn more fun.
But no harm in implementing what you said too .. But just think that if someone had about 48% resistance against a faction , how will the enemy even win? |

your logic is flawed, obviously the enemy will have similar FSL, so the balance won't suffer.

I hadn't seen that before.
although, as far as I could tell no-one was against higher faction levels, all the players questioned about it said that it is a definite welcome! (at least for fsl 13).
the problem with the current cap is that once you reach fsl12, because of the cap you'll feel hesitant to play your main, worrying that you're wasting your FSPs! |
| I guess the new levels will come someday, just as before they came. First level 9 was the max, now we got to level 12. Sooner or later we'll get level 15 with some insane bonusses :). Anyway, for now you can play the game as it is, but know that the admins might add new levels one day. |

@gmt325gh _ so it is a nice way of saying that , once you go to higher levels if you don't have any resistance you can go home and watch tv.
Im not against your idea but im just picking out a flaw.. Just imagine someone with a 50% resistance against a faction.. Not everyone has the time to build resistance.. This game is played for fun by most people.
But again , Your idea will be surely implemented in the future by the admins as the game will saturate. What i did was just pick out a flaw. |

well, even faction 16 would only have 48% resistance!
also, given that in the whole server less than 40 people are eligible for fsl-13 (based on the link the poison ivy posted), i doubt anyone would worry about fsl 16!!! it would literally take a life time to reach it!!! it took me 5 years to reach lvl 15 and fsl 11 ... at this rate fsl 13 will take another 3 or 4 years ... fsl 14 will take another 7 years, fsl 15 another 12 years, and fsl 16 20 years after that! so in another 40+ years :P |

if you are fighting a person with fsl 16 then obviously they are high level, but so are you, at those levels you should have more then enough money to get potion of skill, therefore even if Not everyone has the time to build resistance.. This game is played for fun by most people. they will not be at a disadvantage at all, that is the whole point of that potion.
