Why do the shrews not hit and return?
It would make sense if they would be blocking an archer but this is not the case. If this is the new AI system how the shrews behave then I guess it´s not worth it anymore. |

My other post suggests same AI cheating
In this battle only one shrew stands to block my Archer
Others dont
Where as in your battle its not the case |
shrews are broken in QT. Last time, i used them, they ran staight to the middle of the battlefield instead attacking the Opponent... |
The new AI system just brings problems
If its specific it should be same in all cases
like I said bad with real players and Playing Good with Actual AI's |
It is still going on, here is a battle of today:

It doesn't even block an archer, it's like it has become a game of chance if the shrews will return or not.
I stopped playing quick combat due to this. It's been a bit over six months since I mentioned this right after it appeared with the new AI system, so I'm getting a feeling the admins do not read the international forum, if that is the case than why have this section at all? |
it can be "Emulate SHIFT effect by holding left mouse button" in personal settings. shrews doesn't return if shift button is pressed down. Or another one mistake with your shift button. |

i believe they are talking about quick tourney mate ... |
It can be good strategy to put your shrews forward to bait enemy stacks. Especially for a unit that rarely gets to hit twice..
I don't know if that's the case for all the battles you mention, so perhaps there are AI bugs, but you have to consider baiting / blocking. |
