How the talent skill 'Defense' and 'Enchanted armor arts' work to reduce the damages?

Please, provide clear details about it. (Possibly, add the formulas)
The defense talents are fairly straightforward - it just reduces melee damage by some % (depends on the talent). This means that your troops will take less damage from troops that attack you in melee, but it will do nothing for your troops that get shot or get killed by magic.

Enchanted armor arts reduce damage by some % for specific elements. For example, the fire armor enchant reduces fire elemental damage taken by your troops. This enchant protects you from all types of fire damage, including fire weapon enchants, fire magic, lava shield, etc. The other elements (earth, air, water) enchants work the same way.

There is one last armor enchant, that "decreases the attack of charging stack x%." This means that if some creature is coming to attack your troops in melee, that creature's attack will be decreased by x%.

I don't think that the "decreases the attack of charging stack x%" enchant only works for melee, it also works against shooters as far as I know.

My actual expect answer is about the final damage:


Example:

(Assume, only 1 enchanted arts used with 10%*5= 50%)

If 200 'Crossbowmen' take 1000 damage from 50 'Griffins' (without any talent skill and enchanted arts)

1) Then, how much damage will take for expert talent defense alone? (without enchanted arts)

2) Then, how much damage will take for expert talent defense? (with enchanted arts)

3) Then, how much damage will take for only enchanted arts?


If anyone have the formula, please post it. (During my early days of this game, I seen the formula in the old server forum. unfortunately, I missed it)
Sorry due to connection error, the post repeated twice.
With expert defense you'll take 30% less damage in melee, so for the first question the answer is 700 damage. The other questions can't be answered without knowing the attack and defense of the troops.

But if you take 5% less damage per reduced attack parameter, 10% D enchant will give you 50% reduction. So in third scenario the reduction will be 50%, so 500 damage.

For the second scenario you need to combine the talent and enchant, which works cumulative I think. Total reduction then is 1-((1-0,3)*(1-0,5))= 65%. I might be wrong about this.
