What exactly is the point of having +40% increased hunting rate when every second hunt you're going to get is the Mad Horse? I played like five of those and now they're too hard to beat :<
Why cannot the horse simply stay away for a longer while once you actually pass it by? :P |

| Because you have to fight it. You have to get rid of the mad old year animal to move on. Feeling bad ? Well, later you'll know why it's preferable to fight it now 'cause you won't see it after 3 days at all. But if you don't like it, then be patient for 3 days. |

Those who say that have no idea what a pain it is to level up the Hunter Guild beyond 3000 points (lvl 8).
Any new creature, even for 3 days, is more than welcome ! |
| You are thinking in your case only. Many players like and seek for these hunts. Also, there are other new year features to enjoy, so you can skip hunting if you don't like what comes. |
| Yeah, I get that. But as it is, the horse actually sabotages newbs (like me) and their progress. To me that seems sort of counter-intuitive, even more so when the fix would be so simple. |
| Well, the fix is simple sure, but the majority of the server doesn't want a change to this. Anyway, since this thread is in queries and help and NOT in suggestions, here's my help for you : Just ask for assistance in mad horse hunt. |

Sorry, I just laughed at that.
Your progress ? Look at the big picture : your character will be NOTHING before it has done about 10k fights.
Mercenary, Thief, Hunter guilds, some PvP, tournaments, perhaps some MC action... So these hunts are part of the **very** long road you have ahead of you, my friend. Enjoy them and the unique opportunity + gaming style they bring you. |

I simply pointed out a minor problem. Your argument doesn't solve it. And frankly, I don't care at all about 10k fights. At moment, all I want is to reach the level 8 and as I see it, the horse is dragging the game down because of it's design. It's not a major flaw and sure won't keep me from playing the game. |
