The admins have implemented a new(ish) feature for the map.

Go to the map. Above East Island there is a little ship with a crescent moon on it - Click on the ship.
If your local time (not server time) is 9:00 to 16:59 you will see no change. However, if your local time is 17:00 - 8.59 you should see a change on the map.

The author of the article suggests that to see the effects better, change the time on your computer and then click on the ship. This is because the quality of the screenshots does not reflect the changes on the map.
Keep in mind that this easter-egg depends on your local time, not the server time. It is currently unknown whether this feature will serve any function in the future. |

Yeah wish it would remain in effect until we clicked on the ship again, or cycled through the stages of the night automatically since I find the images more enjoyable than the regular map. Or maybe it's just because it has been so long looking at the regular map! :P |
