AuthorSaving up for thieves guild
How do you save up for the thieves guild? It's so much money it feels almost impossible to me. I mean one has to spend so much gold on arts and creatures and upgrades and the like. It seems almost impossible to me to get to 550000 gold. I mean right now, I only have what 2% of that and the largest amount of gold I've ever had at any one point would have been only around 100000. I don't get how I can save up that much. Are there any tips or hints that you may have which if I incorporate into what I do would allow me to go optimal savings and save as much as possible? I would be really grateful.
Play min AP combats
enroll, enroll & enroll
do 10 enroll and 1 battle

or buy diamonds

you just have to do that.
you can get back the gold once you get back your TGI on TG5.
'do 10 enroll and 1 battle'
So essentially the only way to get to a really fun aspect of the game is to have no fun in the game for a hugely long time?
Say I do only one hunt every 10 enrolls and with min AP. And say the cost of buying new AP is equal to the money I gain during hunts. So I’m breaking even on that, neither gaining nor losing money.
Now an invitation costs roughly 550,000 gold. I am on labours guild level 5 (almost) and am at kingdom castle as that pays the most money for enrolls. Everytime I enroll this gives me 180*1.8=324 gold. Now to get 550,000 I have to enroll roughly 1700 times. If I do this 5 times a day (which is really not possible as one is often away or doesn’t have a computer handy or whatever) then it will take me 340 days. So the only way to get enough money for the thieves guild is to have no fun in the game for almost a year?
Is there anything else which might make the process even a little bit faster?

= buy diamonds
If you want but TGI with money there are some tips:

1st- stay only with one faction, build castles cost a lot
2nd- stay as much as possibe in lower levels (1 to 4) enrrolling enrrolling and enrolling without using ap on battles or use min AP once you reach CL5
3rd- a good ratio between laborers guild and combat level is not less than 1 LG level for every 2 Combat Levels , if you dont have at least this, means you are growing too fast.
4rd- you can try Survival Tournaments, they give you good amount of money if you win.
5th- sell all and every hunter artifact you loot
and 6th- keep away from roulette , this will not give you the money ;)
for WoodBox:
1st. Cool. I will do this from now on.
2nd. CL10 now but will do less groups from now on.
3. Yep, labour 5, CL10.
4. I can't even close to winning without loads of AP. They cost loads for participation as well.
5. Yes, I do this.
6. Gave up roulette a while ago after I lost almost 20,000 gold.
Thanks for your tips though.
keep away from roulette , this will not give you the money ;)

unless you have incredible luck like me :)

Do you know any other game that lets you get all the benefits in a short duration? I think not.

and besides 10 enrolls/1 combat aint half bad! (I have LG 5- 50% left to LG 6 and am at CL 8 so I am pretty much speaking from experience) and furthermore 10 enrolls/1 combat lets you have plenty of time to make some friends in the forum and it also helps your LG.
Playing ST's really help (I know some people get like 100-200k from ST from various faction- provided you're good at it).

There a few guidelines on min AP. Your hunt loot would DEFINITELY be more than the average cost of each artifact equipped.
You're now level 10, believe me, there will be levels, you won't climb up so easily and fast. I became level 14 in early 2011. ;)

So if you can live with gaining TG at a higher level, don't worry, one day you will have enough gold and with higher LG you get higher income.
Or keep CL < LG like me, lol :)
Even that not helping if you decide to go for Enchanters + Smith guild :)
It took me 2 years doing 10 enrols/1 hunt to have enough gold for the TGI (I started from LG 0). But it was worth the wait. The main problem of this system is that you will skip most of the events till you get enough gold. But once with the TGI, you will be able to thieve, and at TG 5 you will get all your gold back. Worth the investment.

Oh, btw, you can play with your multi meanwhile you save gold with main. This way, the game won't look so boring. =)
Just try to enroll as much as possible. You say you have trouble managing 5 enrolls per day, but to be good you should be close to double. I know that a lot of people use their smartphones to enroll at work / school / ... I only enroll from my computer, but I enroll when I wake up, while I'm watching series, before I go to sleep, ... You can do plenty of enrolls at times that you're not really playing the game (easier with smartphone of course).

What really helped me is the timer script, it's a script that gives you a notice when you can enroll again, you can find it on the A&D forum (http://angelsndemons.freeforums.org/19-scripts-approved-lwm-scripts-t96.html). Or you could set an alarm, or just remember to enroll every hour.

Anyway, don't give up, keep on enrolling. Don't forget that in 1700 enrolls you'll have LG6, which will make it a bit faster to get to your goal. Also, some hunts can give you really nice profit (together with selling the arts and elements you get from HG / MG). And as others said, maybe you can win a tournament or make good deals on the market, or ...
find/convince 5 friends to start this game with your invitation link.

https://www.lordswm.com/invitations.php

as I can see from your info page you have only 1 multi. total 2 multies allowed. create a new one with your own invitation link as well (that was allowed, if not changed). play with your invited friends till your multi reaches lvl 10. keep accumulating gold (enroll) with your main during that time.

read and learn rules here

especially about multies (number 3 and below)

stay away from roulette.
Don't forget Mercenaries' Guild. and stay away from roulette.
Or donate for 80 diamonds (wich would be aprox 40 euro's) or 55 dollars.
Not everyone can do it with 10 enrolls per 1 fight :)
do 10 enroll and 1 battle
Disagreed partly.
Yes, enroll as much as possible
But you can still fight a lot : Hunts and Merc' are in min AP so you come out pretty even cash-wise with the gold they give. The hunter arts and elements can sell nicely. And levelling up theseguilds can be a pain, so starting asap is good :o)

Oh bugger, didn't realise I was on my multi.
Can someone please delete that comment?
I'll repeat it again here:
Thanks a lot for the tips guys, a lot of them were really helpful and I hadn't considered some of them before (like the recruiting ones).
It's annoying because I didn't make my level 6 multi using my reference link. Aaarggghhh. So many bonuses I could have had.
Roulette I'm not going near with a ten foot long pole. Lost too much money on it in my younger levels already.
Anyway, thanks guys. I reckon I can get this sucker in 9 months or so.
