Author | Grotesques' aura of vulnerability |
I don't believe the Grotesques' auras are working properly.
My base SP is 5 and FSL is 5
As a Wizard, I deal extra damage to neutrals:
•in case of direct damaging spells, [final damage]=[normal damage]*(2+[faction skill level])/2;
Formulae for the spells in question:
Ice Clod: 59+9*SP [104, in my case]
Lightning: 15+15*SP [90, in my case]
So my damage to neutrals should be [at my proficiency]:
Ice Clod: 104*(2+5)/2 [364, in my case]
Lightning: 90*(2+5)/2 [315, in my case]
With my grotesques adjacent to enemies, I notice that my Lightning spell is doing more damage than my Ice Clod spell given the same SP - that should not be the case since the ability of Grotesques is stated as giving 150% of respective elemental damage. It appears that the Ice Clod spell's damage is not changing AT ALL.
Combat Log:
1."_Huntress_ deals 341 damage to Crazed trolls with the Ice clod spell." [After undermine, negating a portion of the Trolls' resistance. Grotesques not adjacent to target stack.]
2."_Huntress_ deals 341 damage to Crazed trolls with the Ice clod spell." [Same undermine, same parameters. Grotesques adjacent to target stack.]
3."_Huntress_ deals 384 damage to Crazed trolls with the Lightning spell."
[Same undermine, same parameters. Grotesques adjacent to target stack.]

I did not test the fire vulnerability aura as in-depth as this, but it may be bugged as well - I will test it later today. | Also, the damage increase from their aura is only 130% and not 150%.
The description is misleading. |
