Yeah, but the initial responses should have been aware of the day the article was posted. That should be enough to give you doubts about it's authenticity.
I've always wondered what might happen if a really big story broke on April 1st.
Imagine the equivalent of the JFK assassination, first alien contact or something equally momentous.
Everyone would think that it was a hoax.
Basically you can't believe anything on the internet when it's April 1st.
Even when it isn't April 1st you should take *everything* with a degree of skepticism until you have confirmation that it is true.
