Author | friendly troops and allied troops in group battles |
Is there a difference between friendly troops and allied troops in group battles? In the explanation of some special abilities (for example panacea) you are told that the ability concerns both friendly and allied troops.
I know for example that lizard chargers assault ability only works with you own troops. That suggests that allied troops are your own stacks only. On the other hand, the ability mana siphon helps your team mates too even though it says "allied casters" in the description.
What about:
aura of bravery
aura of magic proof
bully
cover ally
incentive presence
shield allies?
What does allied troops mean in the description of those abilities? | In the list below, creatures are often divided into allied, friendly and hostile.
Allied creatures are those under your command. Unless participating in a special event, or casting controlling abilities, they normally belong to the faction you are currently playing.
Friendly creatures belong to your team but are not under your control. As an example, they may belong to your teammate in a 2vs2 group battle.
Hostile creatures are all other, those that all your troops are generally able to attack and deal damage to.

It is written in the first section | So in the description of mana siphon we could add 'or friendly' in the last line?
This creature can steal mana from an enemy lord and siphon it to its allies. The stack steals 0.25 mana per creature in it, rounded to the nearest integer, but no more than 20 total. After that, mana is distributed among all allied 'Casters' equally. | Yes I would think so. I will forward this in the ICC. |
