Author | Rapid VS Delay outcome explanation? |
I made a very funny MQ (imo) due to the fact that the Shamans kept delaying me and I rapided my team with Mass Rapid talent.
But the thing is I realised that all my troops had a loss in their initiative, when I made a Rapid of +30% of their Ini and Shamans -30% of that too.
Im not very good in maths, but it doesnt make sense since what I do is my troops Ini x1.3, and they make it x0.7 I think... Correct me if Im wrong please.
If someone explains why my troops had less Initiative than in their normal situation it would help. Thx a lot in advance, | say 1 of your troops had 10 initiative.. u rapided them to make them have 13 but if you minus 30percent from 13 you end up with 9.1.. if they delay you first u end up with 7 ini but when you rapid (30perc) it is(+2.1)it also equals 9.1.. get it?

3) Introduced Overlay system for spells of Holy and Darkness schools of magic, antagonistic to each other. Thus, Rapid and Delay, Bless and Curse, Chastise and Weakness do not replace each other, but co-exist as long as both effects are in action.
The Overlay effect for each group of spells is as follows.
Rapid vs. Delay:
[Final initiative] = [initiative] * (100% + [Rapid effect]) * (100% - [Delay effect]);
So they will not cancel one another out directly. | lol Thats true...
Thx a lot then, nice explanation | closed by Ipsen (2013-10-27 01:21:24) |
