Author | Hunt assist with fee |
Situation
A - Call for hunt assistant (with friend name to help)
B - is the friend who would join assist
Where ***
B will have to pay golds to A for asking him assistant(May even pay any looted items)
A will call assistant and take gold from B+ gold from hunt
Not financial assisting as it was service
Why B join?
Because Assisting A is worthwhile for him.
(If he don't think worthwhile,he won't join)
eg. relieving workaholic with very easy hunt (may mostly get minimal exp with maximal fsp for him)
It's not staged combat as simply it was
1-PVE from the beginning so intentional lose or any else is allowed
2-third party included but he is taking part willingly
3-Gold given may consider gift. But actually not because Assisting player get a service
So- Is it allowed?
---
Situation on brief,
B assist A on hunt
B give A about 100 gold for that service of ...
Both party have agreement just like a contract
(B especially join because of this agreement)
PS. I am not asking to discuss why B would join, Because you'll see it later if this is allowed.
---
Please Kindly pass by on the topic if u are going to say "I'm not sure" or something like that. |
3.20. Any kind of payment for combat is forbidden. Rewarding or promising reward for losing, entering or quitting combat will be considered as paid-for combat. Payment for assist in hunt is not considered violation. Make sure to add corresponding comments to the transfer. Such payments cannot exceed the total gold equivalent of looted gold and resources.
hope this helps answer your question, especially concerning the amount of fee/payment |

i dont understand 1st point, if you are planning to lose? why you need assistance and lose?
we all know exp/fsp worst in losing HUNT.
and 100 gold is not going to be enough for the arts used.
FSP gained in losing battle will not relieve workaholic penalty.
my conclusion:
no use for B, if you are planning to lose the HUNT.... |
Unless the rules become more specific like "Payment to the assistant in hunt, proportional to the hunt reward is not considered a violation", your concept is legal by the rules.
But that doesn't guarantee your safety, since 1st-case violation to new rules gets punished before the new rule is out. |
for Dionysus:
I have read this more than 3 times before I post it.

Note-I didn't say lose the hunt.
for Lord Hallion91:
You Get the point
That's what I really worried.
That's the main reason why I post it in advance before I do it.
For my safety, to not get punish by new rules. |
The general rule is : Any kind of payment for combat is forbidden.
There is an exception from the rule, that allows the hunter to pay the assistant.
The opposite is not stated as an exception so it is considered illegal. |
