To be honest, i dont think it worths going up on rangers other than the fun of it.
TG gives more benefits (more arts and gold) and it seems cheaper overall if you have the patience to gather around 550k gold for the invitation OR spend real life money.
For rangers guild you need a horse and usually full AP to win. |

I have patience but can't devote that much time to get TGI esp.doing enroll mode which is really boring.Yes,TG is more beneficial but for guys like me who have a hard time collecting enough money (or RL money) RG seems like a nice alternative.Plus RG is more challenging as you need to be in mid-full arts unlike TG which can be won in min AP. |

Well, i never knew how was it before the merge since i played only a little in .com and I grew up in .ru. And in .ru (and .com) as i recollect, you used to get a TGI at TG level 2 and another at TG level 5? So, yes, earlier it was faster.

That is what i call the exception to the rule, OR they "burned" a lot of money to always fight in full AP. We both play the same game and we both know that isn't the normal for an everyday player.

are you talking about getting TG2 in one month and get TGI back(old system ) it is true :) but getting TG5 in one month is impossible :P |

I did rangers guild with min ap and it is possible. Winning ratio is not high, maybe 30-40%. I did it with almost every faction and usually without max unit upgrades. But i stoped RG at lvl 2 for 2 reasons:
1. I think, that thief guild is better for character bonus to initiative (more initiative and faster to get)
2. I have got thief invitation before RG was introduced, but did only few fights. So i dont want, that my golds would be wasted (about 750k ...)
If i have not bought thief invitation before, i think, that i would take RG instead. Its little more fun for me. More like "classic" PvP. |
Yup,I can do RG in min AP..you have to lose quite a few before winning but it's worth it.
