First Post coming soon! | Entry-1- The Boy of Might
In a small settlement of tribals situated near the ungroveable steppe, lived the family of Kushagra. Kushagra was a courageous youngster who had saved his village from attacks of the wild many times. He had lost many teethe at the tender age of three while killing a full grown tiger who had attacked his shack at night. Kushagra had three brothers who had all died in the old empire. In this new empire, Kushagra and his parents had been provided a small shack. Kushagra's brothers were valiant warriors. Monkeychunky was the nick-name of his brother Dhruv who was as swift as monkeys and could swing on branches with ease. Despite being a good battler, monkeychunky had been hanged by Her Highness for cheating and illegal transfers of gold to foreign lands. Due to this the family had remained without food for a few days till shashwatme, Kushagra's other brother swore lordship. Shashwatme too was gaining respect when he turned towards the roulette and got so addicted to it that he was soon in debt and was forced to hang himself. This death of Kushagra's father's favourite son put him in shock for quite some time. As Kushagra was still young, his brother Aryan, or huntingroulette as he was called because he ran a roulette parlour in the streets took the oath of lordship too. He earned his name through hunts after which soon he died, in the volcanic eruption that took place in the old empire. A broken family of barbarians, consisting of Kushagra and his parents was forced to shift in the new empire leaving all their wealth burning.
Today was a big day for this man, Kushagra. He was about to swear lordship like his brothers had done earlier. And he made sure that he would not die like they did and would lead a long, eventful life. His determination had earned him an invite to the Empresses palace to be entitled Lordship.
Just as Kushagra was leaving, his mother came down, "Son, I have placed my last hope on your back. You must earn a name for your family so that we can return to the state your father left us in." "Yes Mother," a grieved Kushagra replied. The mysterious death of his father, enraged him. He, with the blessings of his mother, marched all alone, bearing only a weak sword on on his blessed shoulders.
After days of marching through the forests, Kushagra reached the palace of the Empress, Her Highness. The guards allowed him in. Soon Kushagra was marching through the elegant castle of the Empress. He marvelled at the looks of the walls and the ground. They were all painted in bright hues. Just as h was about to touch a beautiful trophy, Her Highness entered. "Your majesty," Kushagra was about to complete his words when The Empress Cut in, "Kushagra, I have heard a lot about you. Let's make this simple, you are to swear these oaths." Saying this, The Empress handed him a scroll.
"I, Kushagra pledge to follow the rules of this Empire, and take the oath of lordship." Recited Kushagra. "Great" said her majesty. "Grammith, take him to the training grounds." | | Entry 2 continued...
For a few days they followed the same routine. Then one fine day, they were released in the forest under the eye of guards to fight wild beasts. A group of gargoyles attacked Kushagra's army. But the army with Kushagra fought with bravery and team work prevailed. They one the hunt. Kushagra took some gold from the leader of the gargoyle. Then Madam Woodlin praised his skill and gave him a level two badge of recognition. Soon, a package consisting of a letter and gold arrived congratulating Kushagra for his feat. It also mentioned tribal goblins and centaurs wanting to join his army which Kushagra readily accepted. His confidence was on a high.
The very next day, Kushagra was told to duel another lords army. Kushagra didnt hesitate for a second. The rules were simple, kill what you want, but let the enemy hero escape. Then, they were left alone in a grassy patch to fight. Kushagra quickly commanded his centaurs to shoot down the enemy elf's forest keepers as they looked dangerous. Mmany of the forest keepers gave up and left the battle with an arrown on their body. Some still fought on and killed all the goblins Kushagra had. ON the other hand the enemy faeries kept the centaurs busy. Soon, it looked like Kushagra would lose. He had only seven centaurs left. The enemy had two faeries and 6 forest keepers. It was then that the centaur Davies saved the day. He kicked the faeries with his hooves and left them to flee. He single handedly brought down two more forest keepers. By then, the others had finished the battle.
Kushagra had suffered losses but Madam Woodlin told him to leave his army to the medics. She then invited Kushagra to a new part of the Training chambers. Madam Woodlin made Kushagra study about Invaders, creatures who were shot tempered and often got enraged. By now, Kushagra understood he was about to get the level 3 badge. But he was shocked when Madam Woodlin brought three more badges out. One was for level two hunter. One for level one labourer. And the final one, level 2 tribal. Kushagra jumped up with joy. He also had a meeting with some invaders that day who were ready to join his army on the condition that Kushagra got a Soldier Tent build. Kushagra paid the labourers five hundred gold and gifted them some wood and ore and they quickly finsihed the construction.
Madam Woodlin congatulated him, he now had Invaders in his army | nice) | please go to discussions forum |
