what are the estates for? what do they do when you rent them? |
They reduce the time to recover health and mana. |
if you bought one, would you earn more gold than you paid? |

It takes time to cover the cost that you paid for it |
Depends...
if you have a 5 star estate u got for 5 mil with 25 rooms then sure you will after a few years. The main purpose is to show wealth and the bonuses offered by ownership along with storage/trophy room.
normally estate prices are ridiculously high right now |
Not worth except if you got tons of money to show off and renting room at 100 gold a day would take take you almost two years if you are lucky |
Nope they are luxury itemss just to show off
Not so fast, after around 10-20 years (depending on location and estate ID) you start making profit. |

A bit misleading. It will take so long time before you got as much gold as it cost.
But to calculate profit you also have to include your expected value of the estate if you sell (minus the tax)
Besides that you could also argue that you should calculate your own personal value of the estate as well (Storage + healing)

That is wrong, it also function as a way for faster healing and also can be used to store arts.
Storing arts is my main purpose with it, I could not have gotten by without the 30 extra spaces it gives since I like to play many different build, this also means I want to stock up on the cheap PoO during anniversary and NY, since I need to change my parameter points more than most. |
