AuthorBetter battle interface
Used dragons for the first time in this event, and must say I absolutely love them. It'll probably be a while before I can afford Jades in-game, but I'm really looking forward to it.

However, a couple of things did strike me as very annoying. One being that sometimes it's hard to predict the path of of the 'Dragon's Breath' attack properly. Specifically, if you're targeting a large unit and a small unit next to it. My suggestion is, why not have the path of the attack shown? (similar to lorekeeper's ranged attack)

The second would be that it's really hard to have the Jades attack from a certain spot (such as corners). Even if my mouse should budge even a little, the angle would be off and I'd have made a bad move. This is not a problem for most troops, but when using abilities like dragon's breath this gets frustrating really easily. So to counter this, how about giving players the choice of having a "Confirm Attack" option? This could be something simple like a small box next to the volume control in the battle interface. If players have the option enabled then they will get a warning asking to confirm every one of their actions. If you don't need to use it during a battle or during your next few turns, or even think it's a waste of time then just leave it disabled :)
+1 for both.

I asked my friend to explain me how to properly use dragon breath.... Still did 1 or 2 mistakes during the event with large target creatures. And once, i saw one of the guys in our killing his own troops with drago breath due to its angle with the target.
+ for both

this problem was written in close topic.a lot of players have problem with that.
show of place where you atack is good idea.
also it takes quit lot of time catch the corner of creatures,so more time especially in events like this can be usefull

My second suggestion here is quite similar to another one give by Sven in this thread:

Whether you agree with the diagonal diagonal attack problem or not, then please use that thread to give your views from now since it was created first :)

This thread should be used for discussing this: Sometimes it's hard to predict the path of of the 'Dragon's Breath' attack properly. Specifically, if you're targeting a large unit and a small unit next to it. My suggestion is, why not have the path of the attack shown? (similar to lorekeeper's ranged attack)
I am pretty sure (~90%) that I have seen AI controlled dragons "choose" which way to aim fire for hits which are not possible for players.

e.g.

ABCDEF - (row1)
ABCDEF - (row2)
    DD
    DD

AI Dragon* can hit any one of: B(2)&A(1), C(2)&B(1), C(2)&C(1), D(2)&D(1), D(2)&E(1) or E(2)&F(1)

It would certainly be much better if we could choose direction of breath when attacking as I dont believe that human controlled Dragons can hit C(2)&B(1) or D(2)&E(1) from same position but would need to move a space to the left or right for this attack. As I said though I am not 100% sure of this and would need to search back through previous battles for examples.

*Just in case it does not line up correctly when I press post. The Dragon (DD) should be directly below (CD)
C(2)&B(1), D(2)&E(1)
this is not possible i think. At least i have never managed to do it.
Must be a very flexible Dragon

I think it is only possible for AI Dragons to make AI stronger and more competitive for players.

+1 to first
-1 to second
Would be really helpful +1 for both.
