Author | Firefox & Flash |
Hiya all,
A few months back, I updated my Firefox and Flash Player to the latest version [at that time], and after that, had a host of problems while playing this game, especially in battles [my battles were like slow-motion and jerky. and right-clicking on units to bring up stats and melee attack don't work] I believe some/many others had the same problems.
I went back to the older versions of Firefox and Flash Player and things went back to normal.
I have ignored all prompts to update my Firefox and Flash Player for the past 4-5 months since.
My questions are;
- Are the latest versions of Firefox and Flash Player good for playing Lords? If so, please write which versions of both you are using.
- Latest versions suitable with the approved scripts?
Thanks ) |
I had similar problems with Firefox, so I switched to Chrome. Good luck |

Might not matter, but please tell em what version of Windows you are using too. Thanks.
I'm using Windows 7 [Home Edition] with all the latest updates installed. |
Had that to with firefox, I switched to Chrome and here is no lag at all.
Using Windows 7 :). |
When i switch to Window 7 , Firefox started to be bugged(i don't know which FF updates made it) then i switched to google chrome
From that day , i stick to Chrome only ..And also a lot of script like Java tends to be bugged when using FF |
i am using Windows 7 Ultimate 32 bit with adobe flash player version 11.7.700.141
i have above problem when i am using 11.6 version, but now it is not but sometimes flash is crashing or object loading issues especially i open some streamline video sites. |
I have Windows 7 64 bit |
I have Windows 7 Ultimate and adobe player up-to-date.Firefox lags with java and crashes often. i suggest Google Chrome or IE 10. |
Same with me FF 19.0.2 Flash 11.3.300.257.Fights are some time really gets annoying.Like a slow motion picture :(. OS Win 7 ultimate 32bit.
I thought I had a bad connection so scolded my local ISP but now it seems they are not guilty :P Thnx Jedi to share the fact that Its happening to lot of players not me only. |
ancient PC, windows 98.. using chrome and no problems |
I have been holding out switching browsers coz I have a lot of bookmarks saved on FF, not to mention most of the approved scripts installed, and didn't wanna waste hours moving over to a new browser.
Am hoping FF/FP would fix the issue, but guess not.. for the time being anyway.
From replies so far, guess I don't have much of a choice. Sigh..
Thanks all who replied. ) |
ancient PC, windows 98..
wow. |
Windows 7 Ultimate 32 bit, Firefox - 19.0.2, Flash Player - 11.6.602.180.
Everything is good except some consecutive turns of some of the battles are like slow motion. And yeah, unlike all the others I face this slow motion problem more in chrome than firefox. But, this problem is not so frequent, so I don't have much to complain. |
Someone [not sure if he wants to be known so I won't mention his name] just recommended to me to try 'Comodo IceDragon Internet Browser'. I just did a Google check and it seems to be similar to Firefox but... without the bugs ! haha.. :)
Anyway, the review looks good and since it's compatible with the approved scripts, I might just give it a try.
Anyone have used Comodo IceDragon and Chrome before? Which is better overall ?
PS: Seems like many of you are having the 'slow-mo' problem with Firefox/Flash. If any of you don't wanna change browser, I am using these versions,
Firefox 15.0.1
Adobe 10.1.2.45
They may be a little old but they work great. Scripts works, and no lags/slow-motion whatsoever. |
I am using latest version of Firefox and flash player on windows 7. I don't have any problems, though I faced that slow thing problem few months back but then new upgrades of ff and flash player have fixed that problem I think as everything is smooth now. About chrome then it's a good browser but I am never switching to any other browser than ff as its best for me |
I am using latest version of Firefox and flash player on windows XP. I don't have any problems. |
Currently using FF 19.0.2 with latest flash updates. WIn7 Ultimate. No slow mo or other similar thing - time to time flash plugin is breaking (when a lot of pages is opened and im doing a lot of other things) - i only have to refresh browser pages. |

My opinion is that Chrome works great as it has auto translator when you surfing Russian forums |
