AuthorInfected Zombies Vs Ghosts?
Which would you rather have in PvPs and STs? I dont play MC so it doesnt really matter fighting big mosters
zombies are rather better
zombies works good if you go with mass decay or so
still i think zombies are better as ghosts very less hp and luck dependent
should I go offensive, defensive or mage with infected zombies? how should I distribute paramter points and which talent should I activate?
see when last time i was necro , i had used mass poison build for PvPs
and for hunts/mgs basic nature with dominion of __ ( forgot it exact name ) and with this build inf. zombies were much better ( all points of knowledge and spell power )

and if you gonna be might than basic defense and vitality is best option ( all points on attack )
on the 6xth lvl played two MT. As a result IZ solved most of the problems i had in another case with ghosts. (though i still enjoy ghosts ase a very usefull unit).

Defence strategy becomes much more effective, what else do nencromancer need?

You can take 2 IZ for 1 ghost.
- Though ghosts have better damage, infecting strike (multiplied by number of stacks) makes IZs atack also effective and multiplies damage of vampires and s-bowmen!
- Though ghosts has a chance 50% to be missed, a zombie has 200% of ghosts HP, so two zombies are 4 times tougher then a ghost.
- Experienced enemy knows, how to catch an incorporeal ghost on a strike with a maximum damage. So incorporeal ability is now not equal to double HP of IZ. Ghosts can die very quick.
- Though you can rise double number of ghosts compared to IZ, there are still some advantages of this fact: 1) you can divide IZ into 3-4 groups without loosing efficiense of risedead spell 2) nobody will stand on a stack of IZ (when you have 3-4 IZ stacks, it becomes practically impossible) 3) 1 stack of rerised IZ is still a problem for opponet (in case you have enough armies at the moment to keep the defence).

But I don't know if my recomendations are as usefull for 7-8 lvl as it was during the 6th
Now you see that IZ can be a very usefull unit.
Also remember, that when an opponent tries to destroy IZ first - he also looses, cause it increases the living time of other atacking stacks. Try to save other stacks if it is possible - IZs should die first, (they are not as fast in diyng as ghosts and even vampires) but make their infected strikes while they die.Take care they should strike only the most dangerous at the moment enemy stacks.

Of cause, on the 7-8 lvl everything changes (cause there is a new magic, and new units of opponents).

It's not possible for IZs to make an early melee atack on the opponent.
But for the most cases early melee atack for necromancer means an early defeat. So it doesn't matter.

The chaosits fatest units (garg) should be carefully watched for by distributed numerous stack of zombies in a coordination with other stacks. Experienced chaosit knows, that one infected strike of a gargolye can save us a lot of time.
