it should be like
double strike .. for each individual strike it should be crusade ... kill 1 get another strike and that strike should be double strike ...so basically as long as u kill 1 unit in the first two hits .. you kill the entire stack lol |

If you hit 3 times with a troop, and it survive after the retal, it will be dead, or close to it =) |

double strike is not first strike.
crusade say the first strike. |
So, by that logic, the first strike hits which activated crusade.
Second strike is a result of crusade.
Normal game flow continues, resulting in a third strike.
