The wait is almost over! The international counterpart to the highly acclaimed HeroesWM radio – The LordsWM International Radio Station, should be up and running in the Beta mode within the next 72 hours! Within the next week, the final pieces of the radio should be in one piece and the radio will be fully functional. After having thought, conceptualized and developed the idea for over 6 months, we have finally reached near completion of airing the first show of the radio real soon.

The page will be in constant development and incur changes within the next 72 hours. Within this time frame, you should be able to witness a stable release, and we shall start conducting some tests, airing random songs, etc. The radio is expected to start its show anytime next week, which shall be conveyed in advance. We have roped in LITWIN to participate in our inaugural show so expect to hear him any time next week.
Some part of the broadcasting schedule has been developed. We are still on the verge of finalizing it. The radio will air 24 hours, 7 days a week, with repeat telecasts of some specific shows (like interviews with eminent personalities in the game) so that players residing in different time-zones do not miss out on it.
Some ideas for contests have been planned too and we are currently looking at various possibilities. One of the current ideas are that we will have a pop quiz (not related to pop music :p) once every 2-3 hours. The winners shall be rewarded accordingly. More suggestions for players are awaited on developing this.
We are currently having a shortage of basic staff and extended listeners who are really critical for the development of the radio. Currently, we need people radio for these:
1. Interviewers
2. Music Enthusiasts
3. Full and part time RJs
4. Interactive News-Readers
5. Live/Recording DJs
Also, we plan on airing your programmes! What does that mean? You could get to go live on the radio and air your own thirty minutes of show! It could be anything ranging from a comedy show, storytelling what and what not? The possibilities are endless! Open up your creative mind and join us…Get your talent heard by the world!
For all musicians out there, we have decided to keep a show, where we shall be playing your own music! Yes, you heard it right. For all those musicians out there, if you or your band has an original song, you could have it played on the radio and get yourself heard by people throughout the globe!
The current LWM International Radio Station currently comprises of:

Coming to which songs are going to be played. Please leave your suggestions in this thread or send your suggestions to anyone in the Music Department. We also plan to have a show everyday, wherein you can dedicate a song to anyone in the world, and that will be aired, along with the message you want to give to your dedicated person. Such requests will be periodically taken through PM to anyone involved in the Music Department.
The current people involved in the project are ever expanding, so you’ll soon see a huge list of names involved in the project very soon. Everyone is welcome to be involved in this project.

They are very much needed and warmly welcomed. | | at first,do you have a good microphone? cuz at the ru radio, its sometimes, really hard to understand what they say, and imagine,if ur not english,which makes u less understandable because of the accent+the microphone through almost nothing can be heard.....also u need a good network connection, because if u dont everything u say can be laggy....and the last of all, i still think u shouldnt use old music,or jazz at the radio...only small part of players like it... | @#3
Recordings shall be done at as high quality environment as it can be. But the reason you feel that usually radio stations don't air good quality sounds is so that you don't have any problems of the sound being interrupted, like in those youtube videos. Imagine hearing a song being interrupted every 3 seconds?
Yes, we'll record at high quality but airing will be done at 64 or 128 bitrates. 128 is our plan initially, but if many users with low speed connections are finding difficulties having an interruption free streaming, we will change it to 64 bitrates. Though you shouldn't experience much difficulties with a 128 bitrates airing.

We plan to broaden the airing time over all geners. Of course, the popular ones will be given the most airtime. The others shall be aired here and there. We also plan on fixing some time to special shows some days, for instance for a specified 1 hour 3 days a week to air country music, death metal, etc. (this is not the fixed final schedule, just an example).

This means we are not doing this for any amount of money whatsoever. So evidently, it is not expected that we could pay as of now anything as salary.

That's for a start. We are planning on getting people across the globe for the same. But those who are in the team are undergoing the period of testing.
And one more thing, this radio station will also feature as a mini-LordsWM newspaper till the time some other player comes up with a better version. Till then, you'd also see various articles, news and even the interviews in a written format on the radio site! | | Good luck :) | Good luck :)

Its nearing its final stages. If all works well, then we'll be putting a formal request to the administration for an official status and a sub-domain to make us get at par with the HeroesWM radio. | Gr8 work.
