DE lvl 12/13 sucks, on lvl 10/11 i think it's strong, maybe too strong. but you wont have a chance vs elf eighter. i think it's just impossible to balance it for all races. its a bit annoying.

certainly i am not a very good player. but in all of these battles i would have to play like Kasparov to win and my opponent cant do a lot of things wrong. in fact i doubt if it's even possible for them to lose. so if someone has another opinion i would be glad to hear how should i could win such battles. and pls dont answer by telling i should go magic DE. |

I'm not an expert on PvP, but here are my 2 cents:
Battle 1: I've seen a lot of good DE players moving shrews to kill archliches first and protecting their lizards for later use against vamps and ghosts (in combination with shrews.
Battles 2 and 3: Your dark witches can win the range fight as long as their bowmen focus on your shrews. So you can sit back and let the enemy come to you, instead of jumping into their lucky attacks.
Battle 4: You should use your lizards assault capability against vamps and ghosts, instead of killing your hole stack for 5 death envoys.

I'm no pvpman either but I can see some mistakes..
You just run into battle with you're lizzards expecting them to kill everything?
At the elf you walk straight into the tree's arms (Stupid).
With the necro's, they lure you with the death envoys and you walk right into their trap(lizzards without backup?). Then after that move, you make another stupid move, you move you're minos on their first turn right into the attack field of his dracula? Why? Thats asking for a epic hit on them? Knowing they are so slow...
It seems to me that you rush to much, I at my alt faction, DE, faction 4 managed to kill some elfs/necros etc.. But ah who am I, I suck at pvp.. |
agree. i shouldnt sacrifie my Lizards.
thanks Morphius. i changed my talents also. i removed rally and have more melee dmg now. it seems to be better. |
| I also found that splitting shrews into 2 even stacks and dark witches into 2 even stacks to be quite useful when I played as de.(I always went max dark witch). Thier delay is quite useful and 4 delays can win you battles :) |

and the verdict is,
-I should split my shrews n' witches into 2,
-Have offensive talents,
-Move liz only with backup,
Anything else,
and i would also ask, how the heck do you kill the vamps? :P |

KIlling ghost is pretty easy, as every one here said, split shrews into 2 stacks and darkwitch in 2 stacks. Delay (I always do that) VAMP and perhaps bowmen.
If you want to kill ghost, put lizzard next to it when you know you're shrews (and perhaps even mino) are right after your lizzard, just hit and you'll have 4 hits on ghost(without hit back). I'll do the same with vamp, thats why you need lizzard. |
