| As stated in the title, how much morale is too much? and how much can actually be used in a combat? |

| Max should be 5 unless you fight a shadow dragon, then it's 6. But it's fairly hard to reach 5 anyway unless you're trying to purposely get morale over other stats. |

6 is to much...
5 will give you the "famous" 50% chance to burst morale! As pan had said some creatures reduice your morale like :
Shadow Dragon = -1 regardless the place of the Dragon
Nightmare = -3 near your troops (1 hex at least)
Ghoul = -2 near your troops (1 hex at least)
Up to you to math and add the exact amount to be all the time at 5. Keep in mind this won't apply if you are Necro of course :))
If you raise troops, your bonus won't help!
