Would it violate the rules if i would make following things:
(of course it could be done unconsciously)
Examples with magic factory (can be of course also another one):
1. i go to the "Magic factory" with my main character. There is 0 gold, so not enough for my alternative character, who has for example 0 gold.
(so he can't buy Magic powder, so at the factory would be 2048 gold and my alt. could work)
Then i buy it with my main char. then logout with main and login with alt. Then the facility has enough gold, so my alt. work there.
=> indirect financial profiting?
2. Same situation in these facility, if there is 0 sulphur. my main has f.e. 100 sulphur and has enogh money to buy some magic powder (if is there 0 gold). So my main char sells sulphur to the facility, then i logout and login with alt char and go to work in this facilty.
3. if my main char will go at work, then faclity will need some mercury and sulphur (main char has in this case no m. and s.),then i login with my alt. (he has m.& s.) and sell them to facilty.
Ok, this, as i guess "illegal actions", may bring main character or alt. charcter some gold, but not really profitable way for indirect financial profiting.

hmmm...could count it as a financial assist, but a rather very indirect. Don't know if we have any rules currently disallowing this. Anyways, it pretty hard for us to ascertain this fact if someone has done it or not. | | its not illegal..100% sure | First of all, you all should stop trying to find out ways to abuse the system and play the game fair and straight. Second, if this case happens once in a while, there is noting wrong; If, on the other side, it's a systematic method you use to improve your main incomes, then, yes, it will be considered for sure as
indirect financial profiting and therefore you will get fined.

While this method would be hard to spot it would still be acted upon if discovered.
Re: #6 - in addition it is also a very serious (and separate) rule breach to exploit any loop-holes in the games mechanics. So it is wrong and an almost certain block for all your characters to invent new methods to exploit or bypass the rules. | | closed by ULTRA_XEROX (2012-09-17 12:03:37) |
