Author | Joining a clan |
hi hi,
I'm interested in joining a clan. How can I find out if a clan is :
1) active in organising activites for the clan's members
2) active in reparing/enchanting clan's member's equipments
3) purpose of the clan's role
thanks much ... |
there is a clan section in forum, you may check there and find by yourself :P

1. The worst part about a clan is that you never know if a clan is actually active or not. One way to find out is how active the clan leader is in the game. If he/she rarely logs in, it is estimated that the clan will not have much events. Though this is not a guarantee. Some clan leaders might promise various events but give none and might run a clan for profiting themselves for your donations. beware of such clans. They do nothing but eat up your gold. A way could be to ask a random member of the clan, but this report might not be good too, as its ones personal decision.
2. The repairing and enchanting services doesn't belong to a clan. It belongs to the enchanter. The clan merely contacts the clan enchanter to give the discounts, but the fastness/regularity will again depend on the repairer/enchanter itself. So if you are looking for these services, it would be better if you check who is the clan's repairer/enchanter and check how active he/she is.
3. Clans have virtually almost no role to play other than regular events (if the leader provides it), a good meeting point for players to join together, build up a team spirit and might be participate in non-official inter-clan battles. |

Hi Vlaer, agreed with what you mentioned. So, now the issue is to locate who the active clan leaders are :p
I think I've been in this game for almost a year now. But I can't really recall if I've come across events actively organised by any clans. But again. I might have missed it ... |
I could help you out in PM with pros and cons of almost all active clans, but I guess posting here might not be perfect way to do so.

You must know that internal clan activities sometimes get unnoticed by most of the members outside that articular clan. There was recently an event in AnD and I came to know about it so late! |
ok if you are looking for active clan, leader :) there are many type. i am talking about all clans in general which includes MC.
for example:
some clans having less active leader or can say less communicative(in forum or mail) leaders but you can't say that clan is inactive. in fact they may 99% active :P
some having language problem so they looks dead but when server event comes they wake up from sleep and give some shock to others. we can call them as sleeping giants(since they always sleeping)
some clan leader/officials always talkative so that you will soon.... :xD

I think I've been in this game for almost a year now. But I can't really recall if I've come across events actively organised by any clans. You would not see this as it will normally only be announced on clan profile pages and by clan mail.
If you want an active clan with top enchanters/repairers etc then just look at any of the military clans (either on clan page or click the logos which appear beside these clan's members in forums etc.
One of the main benefits of a good clan is the help & advice you will have access to from it's nore experienced members. |
Look at clan pages, send question to clan leaders and/or members.
Ofc in the end you cannot know for certain b4 joining, but if you do some research and ask questions you will get an good idea of the services, frequency of event and profile of the different clans. |
Thanks much for all the informative feedbacks. I already had something in mind :) |
