Local Rule in Miscellaneus section of trade forum says:
1.4. It is forbidden to sell ANY manuals on 'how to', like 'How to become rich in this game', 'How to become a successful merchant', 'How to play the card game', 'How to score high in text quests' and any other.
So you cannot sell it. |

Well I'm not quite sure if that rule applies. If you are trying to sell 'how to encounter the dragon guards' then it is illegal. If you mean if you can sell like some crazy secret about Dragon Guards, I'm not quite sure about that. Most likely not since there's no way we can tell if it's real or a "scam", not that I believe anyone will pay for it. If it is actually an unannounced secret it will probably be deleted like REd-Pois0n's post.

Trying to find and use loopholes in the game's rules will result in an even more severe punishment. I wouldn't advise it. |

I actually want very much to share it (I'm not very good at keeping secrets), but I fear the consequence. If indeed it gets easier after you lose, like thief ambushes, I'm afraid that once I tell, we'll find some combat logs full of dragonguard battles. Remember some combat logs with mostly merc quest battles before the admin effectively shut that down?
Nevertheless, I'm leaning towards telling and letting people have fun, since this server is dead enough. Give me a few days to think it over. If any of you have any advice one way or the other, feel free to PM me. |

there are no records and no reward for beating them, just fun so i doubt they will be exploited |

No records, no gold rewards, not something very very good for any player....

Hm. I don't know. Doing merc quests without reporting back in time also doesn't get you any reward, yet some people did it a lot. I myself did it too, but very sparingly.
But I must admit that the exp/fsp ratio here is not as good as monster merc quests. So, Ok, fine. Look for another thread. |
