It's just a matter of luck to get an artifact from a hunt.
You'll see that after a few hunts you'll also receive an artifact.
Plus you did get 200coins and all the experience, so you don't suffer from it :)

since he used arts and lost art durability, its normaly unreasonable to stop helping. 990 cases out of 1000 he had a major problem to go afk in a hunt when he chose to join (like power or connection loss)

he may even send a thx PM later since you won hunt solo and make him get an art. |
