Author | Luck and morale |
The probability of morale/luck triggers = F^(1+[moves befallen so far]-[moves not befallen so far]*F/(1-F)), whence F is Min(0.5;luck/10) or Min(0.5;morale/10), each stack having its own independent counters for morale and luck.
What they mean with 'moves befallen'? I don't speak english and can't understand this rule. Somebody can explain? Any example? |
if luck don,t trigger chance is next time hiher :) |
higher bad grammar :P |
[Post deleted by moderator SirM0rphius // moves befallen so far = the number of moves when luck/morale was triggered] |
moves befallen so far = the number of moves when luck/morale was triggered
moves not befallen so far = the number of moves when luck/morale was NOT triggered. |
Then, move count resets when luck trigger? Or still counting? |
? To put it simple, every time a unit moves, you have a chance to get morale. If it doesn't trigger, the next time that unit (or is it your next unit? I'm not sure...) moves, morale has a higher chance to activate. Same applies to Luck/attacking. |
Then, move count resets when luck trigger? Or still counting?
When luck is triggered, it adds to the number of "moves befallen so far". Nothing is reset.
This formula makes it unlikely for you to be incredibly lucky (with regard to your luck/morale parameters) and impossible for you to be incredibly unlucky over the course of a combat. |
Simply, if you had 1 luck, then your chances are (if luck doesn't trigger):
1st turn: 10%
2nd turn: 12.92%
3rd turn: 16.68%
4th: 21.54%
5th: 27.83%
6th: 35.94%
7th: 46.42%
8th: 59.95%
9th: 77.43%
and finally 10th: 100%
If luck first time triggered for example in 5th turn, then the chance in 6th will be 2.78% instead of 27.83%, then if it doesn't trigger in next turn it will be 3.59% and so on...
