i do believe that multi id should be allowed to lease and rent weapons .
If not lease , it should be allowed to take weapons for rent .

logic behind some rules are not easy to see immidiately.
just be sure all that rule table evolved in time, any new rule (or sub-close) added is because a need arised in time.
if multi allowed to rent arts out for x price, control required if any financial support exists. control means admin time. hence easier for admins to remove time loss, just block any multi who ever tries to rent (in or out). |

What a great thing it would be if additional chars would have been somehow separated from main chars meaning that during registration you would choose it will be your ad. char and some your actions would be limited. Then if someone created more, than 1 main account, he will be simply blocked... Dream of. |

It is to prevent Multis from starting/being involved in any item rental scheme that is solely made to raise the finances of the Main or to facilitate inter-Multi 'rentals' that are used to cover the track of Mains laundering gold |
You can probably most directly thank Commander (https://www.lordswm.com/pl_info.php?id=4300816) and Gefesst (https://www.lordswm.com/pl_info.php?id=4301408) for this state of affairs.
As I understand it Commander was supported in his enchanting endeavours by a player that plays mainly on .ru, and, in turn, supported the .ru character on that server.
Gefesst would send stuff to be enchanted, then sell them immediately, usually for less than elements cost in the first place. Buy more elements, send for enchanting, sell enchanted item cheaply, rinse and repeat.
To avoid analogies to this happening again a raft of rules were put into place soon after this was discovered. Technically it doesn't stop two main characters from doing it, but ignoring Rule 3.6 was the driving force behind this relationship and it would likely be presumed to be behind any similar arrangement that might happen in the future.
