can the admins .. pls assist to clarify with regard to this question.
Donations made to clan have to be given to leader. Does that means the leader may use the gold for his own benefits such as betting on roulette game?
Does the donation to clan mean a donation to him?

There have been conflicting answers given to this question by Arctic, We have been waiting a while for final clarification.
Answer 1: Any gold donated to a clan and all clan funds are owned by the clan leader and can be used as he wishes unless collected for a specific purpose in which case they must be used for this purpose only.
Answer 2: Any gold donated to a clan and all clan funds are owned by every member of the clan and they collectively decide how these funds should be used.
** Funds collected to create a MC are excluded from both answers as the rules seem very clear on these.
unless Arctic or one of the admins are willing to clarify the situation we are unable to move forward from this situation. |
well.. a joker says that a donation i made to the clan, a donation to him. i demanded it back after he kick me and all other members of the clan for no reason. and now he refuses to return citing donation to clan as donation to him!
its just ridiculous! |

you have to clarify whether these donations were made voluntarily or collected to transform the clan into a military clan.
anyway, it doesn`t mean that if the treasurer/clan leader can be the boss over the money, they can do whatever they like with it.
the treasury is the property of the clan, not the leader/treasurer. the latter only access it.
this means - each clan member can request their donations back whenever they want. if not - clan leader/treasurer get a penalty.
(nearly the same situation when a clan member disagrees with a new clan leader candidacy and wants his gold back.) |
I guess if he didn`t ask you to donate, but you did it - there`s nothing to be done about it.
but if the clan leader/treasurer himself requested the donation - he`s not allowed to use the money for outside matters. |

The leader is also the treasurer. I demanded back all my donation for the clan for the betterment of it but he gave me only 20k and when i demanded the balance, he claim its a donation for him as he is the clan in-charge! |
| i started donating because he says that if the clan has some gold. he can get the clan organise some tournament! i agreed and does so in hope of a better clan environment but sad to say it was abuse! |
again, as DEATHisNEAR already said, it`s a bit difficult cause the clan is not military.
it`s like a hobby group.
but if he really said that the clan organise some tournament - it smells like trickery. it`s very good if you can prove this (if you have this message in PM saved or the donations are signed).
try to write in complaints and applications then. |
