AuthorExperience tables and bonnuses for using each artifact
There are games from rougelike type where character gains bonus to using artifacts from each type when it uses them many times.

Lets say I use reprisal sword for 100 times. Then I will achieve lvl 1 in using this item and meele damage will be increased by 2% if I use this item again. Another lvl might be at 500 times and then damage will increase by another 2%.

For each victory using an item tehre will be 1 point.

Such experience table will be separate for each item and kind of bonus will depend on specificatiion of item.

I think it will be great fun and additional strategy factor for those who like to plan character development in order to get better effects.
+1..gr8 idea..
1st thought...

-1 for this applied to characters in general
+1 for this applied to the seperate factions of a character

i like to change factions and builds now and then...

2nd thought...

would be cool to have a bonus as magic DE because my main faction is wiz

hmmm... can't decide
for PvE only
+1 amazing idea

I have not seen a better idea for this game in a long time. Maybe the experience can only be earned through pvp. That way it would be more difficult to earn. I believe that if it is only earned through pvp that this would also promote pvp better than anything else the game has done.

What you are suggesting is basically 'Mastery' for different weapons. Well, I LIKE it.
for PvE only

This would totally ruin the server's economy, since someone could do make an insane damage boost in the cheapest arts and always fight with them.

Sorry, but -1. There are more important things to do, this one would demand a lot of time from admins.
