Author | Enroll code Guide. Common mistakes |
Greetings,
I'd just like to share some facts because seeing topics in Q&H asking for help about enroll codes is a quite often phenomenon.
What you need to know :
1) The letters are slightly modified, but still readable, so put just a little imagination into the code to recognize a weird letter. The hardest cases are when the letters are off-screen, so try the letters that could match the viewable part without including the top of it in these cases.
2) Letters are usually in Capital form, so don't be mistaken when something reminds you of a different letter in lowercase form. However, if you type the enroll code in lowercase or uppercase it doesn't matter at all, as long as the letters match.
3) Numbers are rarely used. There is no number 0 in the enroll code, neither can be an O. Common mistake : A capital Q looks like an O, so take a good look.
4) Number 2 and Letter Z are treated the same way when you enter the enroll code. Example : XXZXXX and XX2XXX both represent the same code. So, don't try different combinations with 2 and Z if your code is not accepted, the mistake is somewhere else.
5) Number 5 and Letter S are treaded the same way too (just like 2 and Z).
6)Letters and Numbers that are not treated the same :
4 and A
9 and g
6 and g(G)
7) Numbers 1 and 7 are not used in enroll codes either.
That's it for now. Good Luck enrolling !!
PS: Not sure about 7), you can correct me if it's wrong. |
This is helpful! Though I've never really had trouble, this clears out quite some clouds for me! Thanks!
BTW: why in the queries? I assume it could fit general forum and would get more audience there. |
Thank you for digging it out, it's really useful.
I never knew Z and 2 both represent the same code.
Really appreciate it. Good Job. |
why in the queries?
I think he's hoping it becomes sticky. |

You forgot the common mistake of C and G.
I think he's hoping it becomes sticky.xD |

Sticky would be good, but I doubt it will become one. It's enough that people can do a search on enroll codes even and see this topic. |
*cough*bump*cough* |
i remember once i've mistaken 2 and Z and had to corrrect it back to pass... will try next time intentionally and report back. |
I just tried it. I saw what clearly looked like a 2, and I typed Z. The code was accepted. |
i tried S and 5, worked too |
