Probably because creatures count was increased only by a % lower than half the HP of a unit.
It happens also in hunts, sometime small amounts of units are the same for two or three consecutive encouters because they only increase by 30% (so 30% of 2 being 2.66, you get two again - the game doesn't start with a half wounded unit).
Next time you will see gargoyles and golem up by one. Gremlins will still be at two, don't know why. Maybe the game rounds up on one side and evens down the other. |
