| as of now, i have a streak of exactly 50 completed MG quests without any elements. 50!!! i really think something is wrong here. according to the 20% chance rule, i should have gotten 10 elements for the past 50 quests, but i got 0. i think it's a bug :( |

you just unlucky... its like rolling a 5 sided dice its just not landing on the element side it isn't like something where no matter what its a 1 in 5 chance so you get 1 every 5

| dont worry, it evens out with time. I had same problem with no elements till quest 67, then i had 10 or 12 quests in row with element reward which made me very happy :) Just keep chugging away with merc quests and youll eventually get your elements. |

| well i heard someone complaining that he didn't got any element for 70+ quests. for me greatest is 37 quest with out any element. |
It is not just unlucky. If i remember correct, the chance of each quest is all the same( independent).
The chance you got 0 in 50 quests is 80% x 80% x 80%....for 50 times.
Like you are far the most unlucky guy in this server :D
I would say it's bug "if" your memory is correct. |
As usual, I'm extremely skeptical when people complain about their unlucky streak. It's human nature to remember only the bad luck, but not the good luck. When it's something that can be verified, invariably the poster's memory turns out to be faulty.
Unfortunately, this is one of those things that we can't verified. Unless you meticulously take note after every quest (as I do), I must say that I don't believe your memory. Perhaps you got some cheap elements (toadstools, abrasives, viper venom) that you dismissed and then forgot.
The chance of getting 50 no-element quests in a row is very small (.0014%). If it really did happen to you, then I'm more inclined to believe that it's a bug than that it's a random chance. |
I don't think it's a bug or you're unlucky, I've checked your transfer log and you have sold 115 elements.
So your percentage is about 21%, this is the formula:

I checked the time and date when i last sold an element, and then i counted the amount of mg quests i did in my combat log, it's accurate
Oh and after 52 completed quests, i finally got a meteor shard. The curse is broken :) |

| yeah just unlucky ive done 6 mg quests and i only got 1 metorite shard theres no guarantees you get element |
