Author | question about rapid and delay. |
i rapid my troops with expert talent, but we know that dark witches have advanced talent and it delayed the same troop.
but my effect is in '-ve'. why?
and i dont understand the rapid and curse formula.
can some one explain with example.
Rapid vs. Delay:
[Final initiative] = [initiative] * (100% + [Rapid effect]) * (100% - [Delay effect]); |
[Final initiative] = [initiative] * (100% + 40%) * (100% - 30%)
Hence Final Initiative = Initiative * 0.98
The Truth is darkness magic always wins. |
Yeap, no matter if you first delay or first rapid, the final initiative will still be less ...
The reson is 'cause the changes are done to the current initiative at the time of cast and not on the starting initiative. |
as hallion91 said, its calculated with current initiative
another example with both expert skill:
you rapid first than delay: 100%ini +(40%rapid of 100%ini= 40% ini)=140% ini
140%-(40%delay of 140%ini= 56% ini)=84% ini
you delay first than rapid: 100%ini -(40%delay of 100% ini= 40% ini)= 60% ini
60% ini +(40%rapid of 60% ini= 24% ini)= 84% ini
in both cases troops got 84% ini, so no matter whats cast first, darkness wins^^
hope there nothing wrong with that, cheers :D |
:o, strange ways.
thanks guys:)
advanced delay is better than expert rapid, seems not good.
dont look right.
now i know why Dark talents are costlier than holy talents. |
