AuthorRare restricted Academy Tournaments
Hi all !
After seeing the last two lines of this official forum :

https://www.lordswm.com/forum_messages.php?tid=1908628

Meaning this :

[quoteBest of luck in card tournaments! Take part in tournaments, develop your tavern success history along with your Gamblers' Guild level, and earn yourself a place in future rare restricted Academy Open grand tournaments!

I want to ask, does anyone got the slightest idea of what the Academy Open grand tournaments are ? What do I have to own in order to take part ? Is one gambler achievement in cards enough or is there more to it ?

Thanks in advance !

basically (not 100% true just what i assume) it is a tavern tournament that happens every so often (eg 1 at the end of every month) to enter you probably will have to have won either of the tavern tournaments currently running hourly
Any ideas from .ru similarities ?
I had a look at one of the Russian help sites.

Over there they have three types of card tournament:
Blue Deck, (Which is what we have), but over there it requires 64 players.
Gold Deck, (We also have), but over there it requires 128 players.
and something that translated to "cup of sunshine" which requires 256 players.

However, it also says that "There is another type - the Cup of the Empire - a rare event with great prize money will be available only for the winners of a certain type of tournaments."

So I would say that you would need to win a tavern tournament over here to enter. It might be that you need to win a blue deck tourney or a gold deck tourney or numerous tourneys. We won't know until it gets here I guess :)
OK, thanks a lot for your answers merlin36 and Dizbe ! I leave this open just in case ...
