mounted with an unicorn i need just 20% of "normal" traveltime.
does this mean i will be ambushed 80% less, because i am 80% less time on the road?
or do i have same chances to get ambushed like an unmounted player? |

| well when i try hunt travelers etc it seem to work only if you set ambush before trip starts so i dont think it have effect |

i already was ambushed after over 60 secs of traveling (i think).

today i travelled with out arts to YL from GC when i came in YL i put my arts on for an hunt assist and then all the sudden i got ambushed

this is the ambush and you can see that i got arts on.
was that a single bug or did it happen to some else?
i dont want to be afk, if that always happens. |

its not real life mate, as soon as you click travel it works it doesn't matter the time it takes,
What do you base that assertion on?
During my 3-minute window of travel, I can be ambushed at any time. If your assertion is true, that means after deciding that I get ambushed, the game would then randomly delay the start of the battle over those 3 minutes. That doesn't sound likely to me. |
exactly this is the main intention of my question.
i do not think that there is an delay of ambush, too.
but if not, a mount would decrease the chance to be ambushed?
are there other options, i did not think of?

^^ After creating above post, I was told by mails from various people that the delayed ambushing when using mount has been present since they were introduced.
To answer thread query, I have been using a Stallion constantly for quite a few months and have not noticed any difference in the amount of times I am ambushed. |
