You start by buying resources - Wood, Ore, Mercury, Gem, Crystal, Sulfur, Nickel, Steel from the facilities on the map.
Then, you travel around the map to sell these resources back to facilities when their work shift ends and they are purchasing them, gaining a couple of gold profit with each sell.
It is very time consuming and very competitive trying to do this however. |

Ok, walk with me:
Gem mine at Seraphs Tears. Sold gems for 369.
Factory "Workshop of Despair" in same place want them for 374
Buy at 369, sell for 374.
Now it's clear? |

Seraph's Tears is one of the map areas.
Go that area.
Go to the Gem Mine in that area and buy gems for 369 each.
Go to the Workshop of Despair in that area and sell gems for 374 each.
???
Profit!
If you're patient, then you can make a tidy sum from this :) |
What could be confusing about this, is that the column in which you put the amount of the stuff you want to sell is called 'purchase'..
