Author | Enrolling from an estate :] |
Maybe we can enroll from a player's estate and we get an amount of gold (with limits in case of illegal payments etc) and after paying the gold from the estate, the owner of the estate gets to repair one of his/her artifact in the estate.(and with a type of formula, again in case of illegal rules etc). So its like the estate owner is hiring people to work for him in his estate.
Please include comments... not some rage comments please. Maybe think of a different way the estate owner could profit. OR maybe the estate owner could get like an ore per person...
but eh... |
as if we didnt pay enough yet for an estate ... |
as if we didnt pay enough yet for an estate ...
let me explain a lil more... this is actually suggested so that estates owners get more worth of what they bought. If some guy enrolls at an estate for 160 gold and estate owner getting ore, thats a nice profit etc etc but then... it will make game economy go wild, I don't know, I just thought of this |
As you explained it in post #1 the estate owner has to pay wages to the "workers" (so this is around 200-500 gold per worker) and in return the estate owners can repair one broken artifacts.
Then amount of workers to repair an artifact have to be scaled with repairing cost and then with how much % do they repair it?
Besides, apart from enchanted artifacts there is no point in using a smith unless he does it for free. |
Maybe wages could be lower? or a set price by the estate leader, for example, pay 170 gold for wood, 172 gold for ore etc. or repair arts for xxx amount of gold |

Smithing already exists. This would be bad for existing smiths.
If you give resources to the owner, then this is like them owning a facility. Why should estate owners get a free facility? If anything Empire can auction off facilities for people to buy, then owners can open enroll slots for people to work and also to sell resources to people.
Maybe estates need workers to maintain and run the estate? But that idea would be unpopular too since estates are already overpriced as is. |
estate is more like inn, not mining facility. |
If we can enroll from estates, so what the owners get ? they will get nothing .. they have to pay for nothing too . :(
